FAQ

Questions homeowners ask

What should I do first when water damage happens?

If it's safe, shut off the water source or main valve, turn off power to wet areas, move valuables to a dry place, and take photos and video before anything is moved or thrown away. Then call us or send the form.

Do you handle everything, or just the drying?

The whole recovery: water extraction and structural drying, mold remediation when it's needed, rebuilding what had to be removed, and organizing the documentation your insurance claim needs.

Will my insurance cover water damage?

It depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance company. What we can do is document the damage thoroughly and give you organized photos, drying readings, and an itemized scope to submit.

Can you work with my insurance adjuster?

Yes. With your permission, we can share documentation with your adjuster and answer questions about the scope of work. We are not a public adjuster and don't negotiate your claim on your behalf.

How do you know when my home is actually dry?

We take moisture readings in affected materials at the start and throughout drying, and we'll share those readings with you. Drying is complete when readings reach target levels for those materials, not when surfaces feel dry.

Is mold always a problem after a leak?

Not always. Mold risk rises the longer materials stay wet, especially in Georgia's humidity. Fast, thorough drying is the best prevention. If mold is present, we contain the area before removing anything.

What areas do you serve?

Atlanta, north metro Atlanta, and northeast through Gwinnett and Hall Counties to Buford, Flowery Branch, and Gainesville. See the service area page for the full list.
